We collect only what we need to give you a quote and run your move. No tracking pixels, no ad networks, no selling your info.

Who we are

Moving On Up LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates this website at wemovemontana.com and provides moving services in and around Missoula, Montana. If you have a question about how we handle your information, email Movingonup@gmx.com or call (406) 241-9799.

What we collect

When you request a quote or send us a message through this site, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address (optional for general questions, used to send your quote confirmation)
  • The addresses you're moving from and to
  • Your desired move date
  • Anything you choose to write in the message field

We do not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or social-media pixels on this site. We do not use cookies for marketing.

How we use it

We use the information you submit to:

  • Prepare and deliver your quote
  • Contact you about scheduling, follow-ups, and your move itself
  • Keep records as required by Montana law and our insurance carriers

We don't sell your information. We don't share it with marketers. We don't use it to retarget you with ads.

Service providers

We use Resend to deliver email from this site. When you submit the contact form, your submission passes through Resend so we can receive and reply to it. Resend processes the data on our behalf and is bound by its own privacy terms.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request time) may be retained by Vercel for short periods to help diagnose problems and prevent abuse.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and customer records for as long as we need them to provide service and to satisfy bookkeeping, tax, and insurance requirements. Drafts and abandoned quotes are deleted on a rolling basis. TODO: confirm exact retention period with bookkeeper.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete the information you've sent us at any time by emailing Movingonup@gmx.com. We'll delete what we can, with the exception of records we're required to keep by law or by our insurance carriers.

Children

This site is intended for adults arranging moving services. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.
